Aloha and welcome to another wonderful wedding from Trade Winds Photography. On March 5, 2011 Omari and Jenny were married by Kahu Laki Ka'ahumanu at the Westin Maui. Their original plan to be married at Kapalua Bay Beach was in dire straits. Maui was being hit with quite the rain for most of that day and as you can imagine the bride and groom were none to happy. They called earlier in the day to see what options we had, and after some discussion with them I came up with a suggestion to get them on at the beautiful Westin Maui resort at Kaanapali beach. With the help of the wonderful people at the Westin Maui we were able to keep our couple dry and happy. Talking with the couple, after the ceremony, I asked if there was anything special I could do for them, and because it had been raining all day, the couple responded "how about a nice sunset". Sometimes you can't have what you want, but this was not the case, not five minutes after their request the skies opened up and we captured a spectacular sunset. The rain stopped for ten minutes, enough time for us to get some great stuff on the beach. Check out the their photos, and remember to ask for Trade Winds Photography!

Ashley and Erika, Married March 15, 2011, Kukahiko Estate, Maui,Hawaii
Ashley and Erika decided to take a break from the cold of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and travel south to Maui to exchange their wedding vows. I recall they told me it had snowed over two feet back home town on their wedding day. Well welcome to sunny south Maui! They were married in the Makena area of South Maui at the Kukahiko estate. It was a beautiful breezy afternoon at a private site right on the water. Lori Terry of Makena Weddings coordinated the event and Vance Rosetti administered the vows. After the proceedings the couple enjoyed cake and champagne, had some fun with family and friends as they listened to the harp of Ginny Morgan. We then proceeded to a nearby beach to finish with some beautiful sunset photos. I had so much fun with this couple photographing the joy and excitement of having their dream of getting married in maui come true. Remember to ask for Trade Winds Photography!

Joseph and Kelly get married in Maui!
Joseph and Kelly decided to do exactly what Kelly's older sister did just over a year ago, they got married. Kelly's sister was married in Maui in November of 2009 and they hired me, Maui photographer Tracy Tegarden of Trade Winds Photography, to cover their wedding day. They must have had fun because her sister Kelly wanted to do the same thing with the same photographer.... and we had a blast. It was Valentines day 2011 with the two of them and myself. Ron Winkler provided a wonderful ceremony on a perfect Maui beach. Remember to insist on Trade Winds Photography!
